Note: We elute with Tris-HCl rather than the TE provided by the manufcturer

• Preheat an aliquot of 10mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 on the 65^oC block
• Add 400 uL of Binding Solution H1 to 50 uL PCR reaction and mix.
• Put spin cartridge into 2 mL collection tubes provided and spin the tube at 12000 x g for 1 minute
• Discard flow-through
• Add to each column 700 uL of wash buffer H2 (make sure ethanol has been added)
• Spin the tube at 12000 x g for 1 minute
• Discard flow-through and again spin the tube at 12000 x g for 1 minute
• Transfer each column to a fresh 1.5 mL Eppendorf tube
• Add 50 uL 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0 directly to the center of the spin column. Incubate at room temperature for 1 min then spin at 12000 x g for 2 min. (Sometimes sterile water is used instead of Tris-HCl)
